Smoking weed doesn't have anything to do with your personal relationship with the Lord or the strength of your faith in him
Smoking weed doesn't have anything to do with your personal relationship with the Lord or the strength of your faith in him. The reason he decreed moderation in worldly things is because when we become addicted then our “God" becomes the drug and because of that it gets in the way of strengthening our bond with our heavenly father. This is true for all worldly things, the biggest i believe is money and the greed that comes with it. So as long as your not addicted then I don't think the lord would be disappointed. Naturally however the closer we get to him the less we find ourselves wanting to do other possibly destructive things in our life because he shows us how to be the best versions of ourselves and because we are directly experiencing his love over time through the strength in the relationship. Our focus just isn't on those other things as much and or it is easier to shift our focus because he teaches us how to and we dont do anything alone anymore. Idk what your detailed beliefs are about Christianity, but there will be a final judgment and because of that there will be a rapture for all his closest followers. Unfortunately there aren't that many, just due to the fact that humans have a hard time surrendering to someone they can't physically see or here. And in order for him to teach us everything the surrender must come first because you have to have total 100% trust in him that whatever he may have to put you through as uncomfortable as it may be it is always for the best reasons possible. Every time you get to trust him more and more then the proof starts coming in retrospect when you have grown enough to understand each lesson he teaches you which could only be taught through trial and tribulation. The world doesn't just stop becoming difficult because you have surrendered your life to him and are only choosing to follow where he leads not where you want to go. What he does do is help you get through each situation better than you would've on your own because now you arnt in anything alone anymore and you and him are working together through all things. Most people quit when they find out that they will still have hardships in life, but he never promised heaven on earth. It was never going to be easy being here for any of us especially for the faithful. The lord has enemies and they don't want anyone getting close to him because then you will become stronger then them through love. It took my 3rd time of surrendering to be rly ready to hand my life over to him. He had to show me that it would never work with me holding on to “my way" of doing things. Once I really learned that I was free from those chains. So it's a process to build a relationship with him. Just like anyone else you don't become best friends over night which by the way is our own struggle not his. He has unconditionally known and loved us from the moment we came into being and has been constantly waiting for us to come to him as he did give us free will and can't force a relationship with him on us. So yes you will go to heaven if you truly believe in him, but you may still have to go through some or all of the 7 year tribulations on earth before the final judgment just like 99% of the world if by then you haven't completely been able to surrender your life to him no matter what he asks you to go through. Either way you will eventually find peace with him and everyone else in the new heaven and earth. I'm sure you wanted a simple yes or no to your question, but I didn't feel it was a simple answer because most people dont understand how God works and why he works the way he does so I figured I would explain it better as I have lived and come to know it. MAY HE BLESS YOU!
