If God came down as Jesus, and was killed, then surely God died on the cross?

 

But God Almighty did not come down as Jesus. God Almighty did not come down as anything. God Almighty has never left the heavens - in any form. And certainly not as a human.

It seems amazing to me that people actually believed that the Most High God, God Almighty, the Sovereign Lord of the Universe, the Creator of heaven and earth and all life upon it, the King of the Universe, the Judge of all the earth, actually died for puny, sinful, human kind. It is amazing and not a little presumptuous.

God Almighty did not come down as anything and it is impossible for God Almighty to die. No matter what.
