What makes dealing with demons so risky, and how can someone protect themselves if they sense a demonic presence?

 Demons live in darkness. The key to combating them is not to focus on them but to focus on and draw closer to Jesus, who is Light. Darkness always loses to light, so when we rest in Jesus’ love for us, the darkness will not overtake us.
