Who did Jesus first tell he was the Messiah?

350 Old Testament prophecies fulfilled by Jesus Christ. But, He never said He was the Son of God, rather, out of His Humility, called Himself the Son of man.

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was the first and ONLY Person to prove He was Incarnate of the Mighty Holy Spirit: Only Begotten Son of God.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but might have eternal life.” Jn 3:16

“To see me is to see the Father.” Jn 14:9

“When I am lifted up (on the cross), I will draw all men to Myself.” Jn 13:32

"Destroy this temple and in three days, I shall build it up it.” Jn 2:19. “He ROSE again on the third day.” Lk 24:46–47; 1 Cor 15:4

When the Apostles told Thomas they had seen the Lord, Thomas exclaimed: “Unless I can see the Risen Lord and feel the holes the nails made in His hands, I refuse to believe.“ Jn 20:25.

8 days later, Jesus appeared among them: “Here Thomas feel the holes the nails made in My hands, put your hand into My side.” Thomas replied “My Lord and My God.” The Lord did not rebuke Thomas for calling Him My Lord & My God, but added “you believe because you can see me. Happy are those who have not seen yet believe.” Jn 20:26–29

But, nothing proves more than real personal experience.

“Seek and you shall find, Knock and the door will be opened to you.” Mt 7:7; Lk 11:9
