Who did Jesus first tell he was the Messiah?

 

I think that most of those that followed Him and actually met Him believed in Him as the Messiah. The problem was accepting what Messiah truly is.

He revealed Himself as Christ to Samaritan woman at the well.

I believe that may be the first time He actually acknowledged Himself as the Christ. Even though Apostles believed that, and even though Peter would be the first to declare His divine nature, Jesus would only at His trial, say Who He really is:

Again, He didn’t say He was the Son of God. Because, no throwing pearls to the swine.
