Why doesn’t God eliminate Satan?

 Satan is his best friend. They take long walks and chat. They make bar bets to destroy Job. Without Satan, God is a lonely, empty being in a limitless universe with no one to talk to, no one to debate existence, no on to plan practical jokes like the Holocaust on mankind. God would never eliminate Satan. He’s God’s best and only friend.
