A Christian following Christianity wrote: 'Never would any theologian place Paul's writings above other portions of the Bible.' Can you show where theologians place their understanding of Apostle Paul's letters over other portions of the Bible?

Easily. For example, when Paul directly contradicts Jesus on the matter of how one can be put right before God. Jesus spoke of adherence to the 10 commandments and doing good works (Mark 10:17–22). Paul says adherence to the Law or good works can’t save us.

Jesus said clearly that every part of the Mosaic Law remains fully in place until his return (Matt 5:17–19). Paul says that Christians are 'dead to the Law', and can disregard whichever Law they want.

Most 'theologians', and most Christians follow Paul on this issue.

Paul contradicts Jesus on the issue of how to be saved. Jesus sets out a great many demands for true discipleship, and says that "not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom". Paul says the opposite in Rom 10:9. You can see why most Christians prefer Paul's version.

Jesus said that anyone can become his follower. Paul says in Romans that only the elect can.

I could go on.
