#WHY IS ISRAEL HARD TO DEFEAT?
Why is Israel hard to defeat?
I spent a career in the Middle East working with Arab armies, and I also worked directly with the IDF.
Israel is only hard to defeat for the neighboring Arab countries. Israel has a competent modern army, like Germany or Holland or Belgium. Arabs armies, on the other hand, are completely incompetent. Their soldiers can’t handle hardship, and you have to be able to handle hardship if your going to be a soldier. They’re completely incompetent as soldiers. which is why you can have a “Six Day War”, or that the United States could take over Iraq in a couple of weeks.
Iranians are Persian, (Different culture, different personality, more competent in war.), so they’re going to be harder to beat than Arabs, and that’s what Israel is currently dealing with. They need the backing of a power like the U.S. to take on the Iranians.
I’ve heard recently that Israel is rattling it’s sabres at Turkiye. That would be a really bad idea. The Turks are extremely competent soldiers.
There’s an old story that I heard that comes to mind. An American military contractor went to Israel in the 50s or 60s to sell them camouflage for their tanks. The Israeli general took him to an open expanse of desert on a military base and asked the contractor how much he’d charge per tank. The guy said about 1000 bucks per tank. The general then asked him how many tanks does he see in front of him. None, the man replied. The general got on his walkie talkie and said, “Move”. About 12 tanks began moving from where they were hidden.
The general then said, “We dumped a couple of barrels of oil on each tank and ran them out in the desert for an hour or two. Cost about 40 bucks”.
Education is why. Israel is founded by Jews who experienced oppression, but before belonged to the education elites of their original countries. Therefore they came from areas where they had gone through MUCH better schools than their Arab counterparts. Especially the normal citizens of each nation. And Israel continued to educate their people. That leads to innovation and better tactics on the battlefield. Israel would routinely take the jets they were sold that were outdated, gut them, and put in their own package of electronics. They were particularly fond of the F-4 Phantom. You can do that when your populace is educated.
There was a joke i heard on why the neighboring Arab countries find it difficult to beat Israel.
After the 6 day war, an military general of the defeated Arab country was asked?
Why did you find it difficult to defeat Israel even though you had the upper hand and Israel was all alone.
The military general said we lost because we expelled all the Jews and the Jews went to Israel. We had no Jews and Israel had all our Jews.
The muslims know that the Land of Israel belongs to the Jews. Koran 5:20–21 refers.
So not wanting to be kafirs they have to hold back and let Israel win.
Actually, the Muslims are at their best slaughtering innocent unarmed civilians. When up against a modern western military they have no chance and have to beg for a ceasefire. The ‘world’ demands a ceasefire to save the Muslims humilition. They do this for oil and investment. Its called realpolitik. They also need Israels hi-tec and medicine. So the conflict goes on with no end in sight.
Motivation…
“Defeat” to an Arab nation means loss of an army, loss of territory and national embarrasment…
“Defeat” to Israel means genocide… utterly ceasing to exist…
Defeating Israel is not a military question, it is a geopolitical one.
Its weapons are America's best. Its ammunition is America's strongest. Its intelligence? American. And the second it's hit, America steps in.
Israel is more important to the United States than Europe is, because Israel carries out the dirty work that Europe refuses to do.
You can deny this truth. You can keep spreading the propaganda and continue living in a delusional, schizophrenic fantasy, but that will not rewrite history, A roar in the jungle changes nothing.
